SUMMARY:Open Qualitative Data Analysis with Taguette
DESCRIPTION:Taguette is a free and open-source tool for coding and 
 analyzing text data. In this workshop\, we’ll use Taguette and secondary 
 data from the Qualitative Data Repository to practice developing and 
 applying codes to interview data. \n \nBy the end of the workshop\, you 
 should be able to:\n\n\n	Download Taguette to your device or log into the 
 version hosted by Taguette\n	Import interview transcripts into 
 Taguette\n	Create and apply inductive and deductively developed codes to 
 text data in Taguette. \n	View how codes have been applied across documents 
 in a Taguette project. \n	Define open research and explain challenges and 
 benefits of sharing qualitative data. \n\n\nThis workshop is adapted from 
 the Data Carpentries workshop Open Qualitative Research and will be 
 hands-on exploration with participants asked to share their experiences and 
 questions throughout the workshop. You’ll also be asked to provide 
 feedback on the overall lesson. \n \nBefore the workshop\, please: 
 \n\n\n	Install Taguette on your own device OR create an account to use the 
 app on the server provided by Taguette\n	Create an account with the 
 Qualitative Data Repository. We will be locating and downloading data from 
 a project in the QDR for use in the workshop. \n\n\nNOTE: This workshop 
 will not be recorded.
